If it is the last thing I do, I am going to lose weight.

Starting NOW.

First I will get out the scales and weigh myself. BRB....

OK, I weight 155.8 lbs.

Last year at this time I weighed 144 lbs.

So the diet and exercise begins. Each time I go for a small walk, I will post it and how long I did it. I will post everything I eat each day.

Anyone want to join me. LET'S DO IT, Damn it!!
(I have to wear maternity slacks as my tummy is so big.) UGGGGGGGG

Today I had two pieces of toast with two coffee. I had another 5 minute walk, hahaha. Terrible I am. Lazy too.
It is now 1:39pm and I just got up and had one more coffee. No lunch.

I think, and this is just a thought, that I am drinking too much coffee and each one has a spoonful of honey in it. That honey must be making me fat. I am going to do something about that. From now on, I will allow myself only two coffee daily and the rest of the time, I will drink black tea, which I also enjoy.......but oh, do I ever love my coffee and it is usually caffe latte.

For supper I have planned a small baked potato with some stuffing and turkey and yogurt for dessert, then I will try to walk 1/2 hour tonight. I usually walk in the middle of the night because I don't sleep at night. I sleep most of the day instead, I hate that too, but don't know how to change it.

Admin.....this is a very timely topic, to be sure.

Well now.....I too got my scales out of hiding and weighed in this afternoon. Let's just say, that I was disappointed with the outcome. I weighed 3 lbs. more than I thought I would. Guess Christmas did more damage than I had hoped. Today my weight is 177 lbs.

So I'll be more careful of my calorie intake, that's a given. When I am bored I tend to eat more, same when I am stressed. Tomorrow is a new day.....and I am bound and determined to lose.

Thanks Admin.....for this thread.

You are welcome Jannette and good luck. I just drank my fifth coffee with a big spoon of honey. No wonder I am having trouble losing. I knew I wasn't going to start the coffee thing until tomorrow so I am taking advantage of it today. Awful how I think. I am already planning on having another just before midnight. It is almost 9pm right now. I just got up. I am sleeping in two hour intervals all day now. It is kooky, I don't know what to do to make my sleep pattern right again.

From now on when I feel like a coffee or nibbling, I am going to force myself to go for a five minute walk down the hall until the craving passes, plus I will make myself drink a glass of water. That should do it, EH? lol!

What are some of your plans?

Well last night about 4am, I walked for 1/2 hour. Today I had only two coffee. I didn't get up until 1:30pm so I didn't have any breakfast or lunch. I had some chocolate (dark). I had cottage cheese and mandarin oranges and rice pudding for supper.

That is it. Not very healthy though. I will have to do better variety I guess. I think I will have some crackers right now as I still feel a bit hungry.

Admin.....I do NOT have any plans yet, just going to take it one day at a time and keep my fingers crossed, that I have will power when I need it.

Oh yes.....and I am going to purchase some meal replacements i.e. Glucerna.

Well I did get my 1/2 hr walk during the wee hours of the morning.

Today I went overboard on the coffee again and had 4 (bad girl).

I had a banana, 4 pieces of toast, 2 yogurt, soya milk,

Guess that is about all I ate today. Drank 6 glasses of water.

I had an ensure,

The doctor's office called me today and told me my blood was way off. I was double what I should be in the thining of the blood. No wonder my head aches when I sneeze and my nose bleeds. I have to go off the pills for two days, then go back to 8mg and get another blood test. Gee, I don't understand that as I felt great today.

I am going to try to get up early and go shopping for some red cushions for my sofa. I have to take three buses to get there, so I hope I can do it without taking a heart attack, but the weather is so nice, this is the time to do it, and the after Christmas sales are on.......wish me luck.

Good morning Admin.......I wonder what is the cause of your blood being out of whack?

When I went grocery shopping yesterday......I bought a lot of things that should help me with my weight loss i.e. yogurt, applesauce, mandarins but I didn't purchase Glucerna as it wasn't on sale this week, maybe next.

For dinner last evening I had a small piece of lean steak, 1/2 of a baked potato, with a dollup of sour cream, broccoli and carrots and mushrooms. Later I had a few Digestive cookies.

This morning I had a cranberry/lemon muffin with Becel and 4 ounces of OJ.....and now I an enjoying a coffee.

I wish that I would lose my apetite again.....like I did last year, that makes it so much easier.

Hope you're having a fun time shopping today. Very Happy
