Don't take it if you don't want it.

It really bugs me when people want something I have. I am the type who would give the shirt off my back if a friend or family really want or need it, but for goodness sakes, don't take it, then give it to your son or daughter. That bugs me.

My SIL does that to me, then gives it to my niece or great niece.

I certainly understand where you are coming from. It wouldn't even be so bad if the person in question.....said that she couldn't use the article but maybe her daughter/granddaughter could, then it's your decision.
